The 2026 Price Hike Explained
This follows a pattern of annual adjustments. Fees increased from 17,000 to 18,000 yen in March 2025 as a result of rising operating costs and inflation. The 2026 increase to ₹19,000 reflects similar factors like enhanced digital services and global demand.

Enquiry on Results (recchecking): up to 13,700 yen for UKVI and 13,500 yen for standard tests. After the first five, additional Test Report Forms (ATRF) cost 300 each.
Cancellation policy:
9 or more days prior: 75 percent refund (13,500 from 18,000)
For most types, there is no refund after nine days.

Cancellation and Refund Rules
For paper/computer tests, cancel 9+ days ahead for 75% refund. UKVI/Life Skills allow 14+ days for similar terms, dropping to 50% or 25% closer to the date. On or after the test day, there are no refunds.
In the event of ID issues, minors receive 75% back. Always document requests via candidate login.
